For Canadian businesses
AI your Canadian business can rely on
Your team already uses AI. Digby gives it a home that keeps company information in Canada, produces answers you can verify, and plugs into the tools you already use.

01
Why Canadian businesses choose Digby
- 01
Canadian by default
models on Canadian hardware; accounts, chats, memory and files stored in Canada.
- 02
Verifiable
answers with sources, and independent cross-checks on high-stakes questions.
- 03
Shared projects
roles (viewer, editor, admin), shared instructions and a knowledge base.
- 04
Connected
Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Xero, GitHub and more.
- 05
Self-hostable
for organisations that need complete control.
02
Put your documents to work
Upload policies, contracts, manuals and spreadsheets into a project and Digby answers from them with the relevant passages — so everyone gets the same, grounded answer.
Give a project its own instructions — your tone of voice, your product names, the rules a reply must follow — and every chat in that project starts from them.
03
Automate the routine
Schedule daily briefings, recurring research and follow-ups. Connect your inbox and calendar so Digby can draft replies and prepare meetings. Developers can hand tickets to Digby Code, which works in a real workspace and opens pull requests.
04
How teams roll it out
- 01
Start small
one team, one or two projects, the documents they already rely on.
- 02
Write it down
a short AI-use policy: what goes in, what stays out, who reviews outputs.
- 03
Connect deliberately
add integrations one at a time, scoped to the people who need them.
- 04
Review
check sources on important answers and use “Dig deeper” for anything that will be published or signed.
05
Questions to ask any AI vendor
Where is our data stored? Which models process it? Can we delete it? Can we leave? We wrote a practical checklist for Canadian organisations — and compared Digby with the tools you are probably weighing.
06
Where teams use it
The pattern is the same everywhere: give Digby the documents and tools the work already uses, then let people ask in plain language and check the sources behind each answer.
- Customer emails
- Policy Q&A
- Proposal drafts
- Meeting prep
- Market research
- Bookkeeping questions
- Code reviews
- Onboarding guides
Frequently asked questions
Is Digby compliant with Canadian privacy law?
Digby stores data in Canada and gives users control to view and delete it, but we do not claim any certification. Every organisation should assess its own obligations under PIPEDA and provincial laws such as Québec’s Law 25.
Can we self-host Digby?
Yes. Digby can run on your own server with Docker Compose and your own model endpoints.
Can several people work in the same project?
Yes. Invite teammates as viewers, editors or admins; they share the project’s chats, instructions and knowledge base.
