Digby Code

An AI coding agent that ships

Describe what to build or fix. Digby Code works in its own workspace with your repository — reading code, making changes, running your checks and opening a pull request.

Digby Code: a plan that updates as it works, and the finished file handed back to the chat.

01

A real workspace, not a snippet

  1. 01

    Import

a GitHub repository, or start from scratch.

  2. 02

    Work

Digby plans, edits files, runs commands and installs dependencies.

  3. 03

    Verify

your own typecheck, lint and test commands, before it calls the work done.

  4. 04

    Ship

it pushes a branch and opens a pull request for your review.

02

You can see the plan

Every task starts with a short plan that updates as steps finish, and every command, file change and check is shown as it happens. Steer it mid-run by sending a message; stop it any time.

03

Long-running work, handled

Hand off a task from any chat and a coding session starts in the background. Files, PRs and results come back to the conversation that asked. Sessions can run on a schedule and pick up where they left off.

04

Your models, your rules

Coding sessions run on open-weight models, and self-hosted Digby can point them at your own model servers.

Frequently asked questions

Does Digby Code need GitHub?

No. It can start a project from scratch in its own workspace; connect GitHub when you want it to work on a repository and open pull requests.

Will it merge code by itself?

It opens a pull request for you to review. You stay in charge of what gets merged.
